The presented diploma thesis deals with the design of a technical product, an external pedestrian airbag, using 3D software and designing the shape of an airbag in the experimental part. In addition to designing the shape of an airbag, this part also deals with the creation of sheeting templates using two methods, manual method - demodulation, using high volume polyurethane form and CAD software. Predložená diplomová práca sa zaoberá návrhom technického výrobku - externého airbagu pre chodcov s využitím 3D softwarov a navrhnutím tvaru airbagu v experimentálnej časti. Táto časť sa venuje okrem navrhnutia tvaru airbagu aj vytvoreniu strihových šablón pomocou dvoch metód, ručnou metódou - odmodelovaním, s využitím vysoko objemovej polyuretánovej peny a pomocou CAD softwarov.
