Possibilities of weed control in sugar beet with regard to the reduction of selected active substances

Abstract:

V letech 2020 a 2021 byly na pozemcích Zemědělské zkušební stanice Kujavy založeny dvouleté maloparcelní pokusy s cukrovou řepou. V těchto pokusech byly testovány varianty herbicidního ošetření konvenčním způsobem ochrany a varianty Conviso Smart technologie. Při hodnocení a stanovení výsledků se ukázala absence účinné látky desmedipham jako nevýznamná a v těchto pokusech neměla negativní dopad na regulaci cílového plevelného spektra. Výsledky pokusů dále prokázaly spolehlivost Conviso Smart technologie, zvlášť pak v kombinaci s některými konvenčními účinnými látkami dle druhového spektra plevelů. U konvenčního způsobu ošetření se ukázala nižší účinnost na cílové plevele a navíc s rizikem fytotoxicity. Na základě provedené ekonomické analýzy se ukázalo a potvrdilo, že využití technologie Conviso Smart k regulaci plevelů v cukrovce je ve srovnání s konvenčním způsobem ošetření nákladově méně náročné.

Abstract:

In the years 2020 and 2021, two-year small-plot experiments with sugar beet were established on the land of the Kujavy Agricultural Testing Station. In these experiments, variants of the herbicide treatment by the conventional method of protection and variants of the Conviso Smart technology were tested. In the evaluation and determination of the results, the absence of the active substance desmedipham proved to be insignificant and did not have a negative impact on the regulation of the target weed spectrum in these experiments. The results of the experiments also proved the reliability of Conviso Smart technology, especially in combination with some conventional active ingredients according to the species spectrum of weeds. The conventional treatment has been shown to be less effective on the target weeds, and in addition to the risk of phytotoxicity. Based on the economic analysis, it has been shown and confirmed that treatment with Conviso Smart technology is less costly than conventional treatment.
