Kerndörffer's "Anton" and Goethe's "Wilhelm Meister" - Some characteristics of the trivial novel compared to the "classic"

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to compare some characteristics of trivial literature to classic literature. This comparison was carried out on specific pieces, and the trivial novel Anton oder der Knabe und Jüngling wie er seyn sollte by Heinrich August Kerndörffer and the educational novel Wilhelm Meister Lehrjahre by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Each identical characters or differences from the literature and language were then determined by the examples of the discussed works.

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je srovnání vybraných charakteristických znaků triviální literatury s klasickou literaturou. Toto srovnání proběhlo na konkrétních dílech, a to na triviálním románu Anton oder der Knabe und Jüngling wie er seyn sollte od Heinricha Augusta Kerndörffera a výchovném (vzdělávacím) románu Wilhelm Meister Lehrjahre od Johanna Wolfganga von Goetha. Jednotlivé shodné znaky, popř. odlišnosti z oblasti literární i jazykové pak byly určovány na příkladech z projednávaných děl.
