Cieľom diplomovej práce je skúmať možnosti vytvorenia mapovej mobilnej aplikácie pre environmentálny monitoring, s použitím výhradne voľne dostupných technológií. Práca sa zaoberá s analýzou a výberom vhodnej mobilnej platformy a architektúry pre vytvorenie aplikácie. Pre realizáciu si vyberá operačný systém Android a natívny vývoj.
