Bethlehem nativity scene-making. A renewed tradition.

Abstract:

Obsahem bakalářské diplomové práce je sonda do historie vzniku betlémů a rozvíjení betlemářských tradic v minulosti i současnosti. V historickém kontextu autorka předkládá vývoj v jednotlivých obdobích a základní ikonografii. Na základě kompilace literatury a vlastního výzkumu provádí průřez spektrem recipientů a hledá odpovědi na změny v přístupu k diskutované tematice v současnosti.

Abstract:

The content of this thesis is to probe into the history of nativity scenes and developing Bethlehem nativity scene traditions, past and present. The author describes the development of the tradition in a historical context and analyses the basic iconography. Based on an examination of the compiled literature and its research, the author considers possible changes in the approach of and relationship to recipients to the topic.
