The relationship between painting and photography from aesthetic perspective

Anotácia:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá vztahem mezi malbou a fotografií z hlediska estetiky. V textu práce je teoreticky prozkoumán vztah malby a fotografie. Bakalářská práce je členěna na větší teoretickou a kratší praktickou část. V teoretické části práce se provádí hodnocení teorie fotografie na příkladu tří autorů - Viléma Flussera, Susan Sontag a Rolanda Barthese. V teoretické části je také rozebírána role fotografie v soudobém umění, vizualita a umění, fotografie běžného dne a digitální fotografie. Teoretická část práce zkoumá roli malby v moderním umění a její vliv na fotografii. V praktické části bakalářské práce jsou porovnány vybrané obrazy z fotografického hlediska. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je určení estetického vztahu mezi malbou a fotografií. V textu jsou použity metody deskripce, analýzy a komparace.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the relationship between painting and photography in terms of aesthetics. The relationship between painting and photography is theoretically explored in the text of the thesis. The bachelor thesis is divided into larger theoretical and shorter practical part. In the theoretical part of the thesis the evaluation of the theory of photography is carried out on the example of 3 authors - Vilém Flusser, Susan Sontag and Roland Barthes. The theoretical part also analyzes the role of photography in contemporary art, visualism and art, modern photography and digital photography. The theoretical part also examines the role of painting in modern art and its influence on photography. The practical part of the thesis compares selected images from the photographic point of view. The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine the aesthetic relationship between painting and photography. This text uses methods of description, analysis and comparison.
