Psychological aspects of motivational structure to studying accounting at economic high schools from a pupil‘s and teacher‘s perspective

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na psychologické aspekty motivace žáků a učitelů ke studiu a výuce předmětu účetnictví na středních ekonomických školách. Cílem studie je zmapovat úroveň a strukturu motivačních faktorů, které na žáky i jejich učitele působí. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Nejprve se věnuje obecnému vymezení motivace, kterou dále rozpracovává na motivaci ve školním prostředí. Ve své první části se práce zabývá rovněž psychickým vývojem jedince v období adolescence či diagnostickými metodami motivace. V praktické části je proveden výzkum motivace žáků středních škol i jejich učitelů prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření. Studie následně shrnuje a porovnává oba výstupy a v souvislosti s teoretickými východisky diskutuje nad patřičnými opatřeními.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the psychological aspects of motivation of pupils and teachers to studying and teaching the subject of accounting at economic high schools. The goal of this thesis is to map the level and structure of motivational factors that affect pupils and their teachers. The thesis is divided into two parts – the theoretical and the practical one. The first part deals with the general definition of motivation, which is further elaborated on motivation in the school environment. In its first part, the study also deals with the psychological development of an individual during adolescence or with diagnostic methods of motivation. In the practical part, the research of motivation of high school pupils and their teachers through a questionnaire survey is carried out. Then the study summarizes and compares both outcomes and discusses appropriate measures in connection with theoretical background.
