Characteristic Postmodernism Properties in the Zoe Jenny Works

Abstract:

This diploma thesis addresses postmodernism signs in literature arts; concretely in two arts from Swiss author Zoe Jenny ?Das Blütenstaubzimmer? and ?Der Ruf des Muschelhorns?. There is analyzed definition of Postmodernism - based on historic context, relation to modern style and view from other specialization ? in the theoretical part of this thesis. I put the accent on literature and the postmodernism signs in it. I make a mention of Swiss literature situation in last few years also. I have analyzed chosen postmodernism signs in foregoing arts in practical part of this work. I refer to relation between present literature arts and postmodernism through these analyzes. There is also described relation between analyzed Zoe Jenny?s arts in this thesis.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce řeší znaky postmoderny v literárních dílech, konkrétně ve dvou románech švýcarské spisovatelky Zoë Jenny ?Das Blütenstaubzimmer? a ?Der Ruf des Muschelhorns.? V teoretické části je rozpracován pojem ?postmoderny? z historického kontextu, ve vztahu k moderně i z pohledu různých oborů. Důraz je kladen samozřejmě na literaturu a znaky postmoderny v ní. Dále je naznačena situace švýcarské literatury v posledních letech. V praktické části jsou ve zmíněných dílech analyzovány vybrané prvky postmoderny. Těmito provedenými analýzami bylo poukázáno na vztah současné literární tvorby k taktéž současné postmoderně. V práci je zachycen i vztah mezi oběma knihami.
