Fiscal Crisis in Europe: Causes and Consequences

Abstract:

The goal of the bachelor paper „Fiscal crisis in Europe: Causes and Consequences“ is to identify the main factors, which led to the beginning of the fiscal crisis and its expansion to actual dimensions. In the first part of the paper the attention is paid to historical aspects of functioning of the European monetary union and its decisions, which contributed to actual crisis. Later the attention is paid to the countries with the biggest fiscal problems, which threaten stability of the whole eurozone. Next part of the paper analyses the impact of the crisis on the whole European Union, whose task is to eliminate its consequences now and to start a recovery of the economic growth.

Abstract:

Predmetom bakalárskej práce „Fiskální krize v Evropě : Příčiny a důsledky“ je identifikácia hlavných faktorov, ktoré viedli k vzniku fiškálnej krízy a jej rozšírenia sa do súčasných rozmerov. V prvej časti je pozornosť zameraná na historické aspekty vo fungovaní Európskej menovej únie a jej rozhodnutia, ktoré k súčasnej kríze prispeli. Ďalej je venovaná pozornosť štátom s najväčšími fiškálnymi problémami, ktoré ohrozujú stabilitu celej eurozóny. V ďalšej časti práce sú rozoberané dopady fiškálnej krízy na celú Európsku úniu, ktorá je nútená prijímať neštandardné opatrenia na elimináciu jej dôsledkov a opätovné naštartovanie ekonomického rastu.
