This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of current conflicts in the Sahel region, with a focus on the member states of the G5 Sahel organization. The aim of the thesis is to examine the causes of conflicts in this area, as well as to evaluate the success of the G5 Sahel project in addressing security threats.
