This paper describes and analyses the political leadership of Vladimír Mečiar. First part of my thesis presents ways to examine political leadership. It includes an explanation why no regular psychological approach, such as questionnaire, could have been used. Táto práca analyzuje a popisuje vodcovský štýl Vladimíra Mečiara. V úvode práce sú predstavené rôzne prístupy ku skúmaniu politických vodcov, ako i prekážky, kvôli ktorým nemôže výskum prebiehať klasickým psychologickým skúmaním akým je napríklad dotazníková metóda.
