Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na zhodnocení agilní transformace dvou organizací, Softwarové firmy a Mobilního operátora. Součástí jsou také návrhy doporučení na další zlepšení transformace. Teoretická část se soustředí na definici pojmů a témat spojených s projektovým řízením, tradiční waterfallovým řízení a představením agility. Popsán je Agilní Manifest, organizační kultura, struktura a různé agilní metody. Vysvětlena jsou také témata spojená s řízením změn, agilní transformací a inovacemi. V první část práce je tedy vysvětleno, proč je agilita důležitá, jak funguje a jak přejít z tradičního řízení na agilní. Praktická část diplomové práce hodnotí dvě organizace podle vytvořeného modelu agilní vyspělosti. Hodnotícími kritérii pro zařazení do modelu jsou Leadership a vize, Organizační adaptabilita, Doručení agility a Inovace produktu. Zkoumanými organizacemi jsou Softwarová firma a Mobilní operátor, které jsou dále zařazeny do úrovní zmíněného modelu agilní vyspělosti. Součástí práce jsou návrhy na zlepšení v rámci agilní transformace v těchto firmách a obecná doporučení pro agilní transformaci v dalších organizacích.

Abstract:

This Master thesis is focused on evaluation of agile transformation of two organizations, software company and mobile network operator. It includes suggestions for a better transformation. The theoretical part is focused on a description of topics such as project management, traditional waterfall and agile. Described is Agile Manifesto, organizational culture, structure and various agile methods. As well as topics such as change management, agile transformation and innovation. The first part of the thesis explains why agile is important, how it works and how to transition from traditional management to agile. The practical part evaluates two organizations based on a developed agile maturity model. The evaluation criteria are Leadership and Vision, Organizational Adaptability, Agile Delivery and Product Innovation. The evaluated organizations are a software company and a mobile network operator. They are later classified based on an agile maturity model. Part of the thesis are proposals for improvements for a better agile transformation in these two companies and general suggestions for other organizations.
