Abstract:

Teoretická část práce se zabývá změnou složení a vlastností páleného vápna v čase, v závislosti na podmínkách skladování. Za účelem zkoumání byl proveden experiment, při kterém byly vzorky kusového páleného vápna umístěny ve čtyřech různých prostředích ke stárnutí. V podmínkách byl průběžně sledován hmotnostní nárůst vzorků, v určených časových intervalech byly vzorky analyzovány. Konkrétně se jednalo o test reaktivity, doplněný o granulometrii nevyhašených zbytků. Ve stejných časových intervalech byla provedena termická analýza (TG-SDT, DSC), mikrostruktura vzorků byla studována ve skenovacím elektronovém mikroskopu (SEM). Při hodnocení výsledků experimentu byly všechny metody testování vzájemně porovnány a diskutovány. Praktická část prace prezentuje komplexni restauratorsky zasah provedeny na vymezenem useku barokní nastenne malby Johanna Jakoba Zeillera v klášteře v Subenu (Rakousko). Konkrétně na nástěnné malbě s výjevem Obrácení sv. Augustina. Na malbě bylo v minulosti provedeno několik předchozích restaurátorských zásahů, se kterými bylo potřeba se vypořádat. Zásadním krokem při restaurování bylo odstranění předchozí fixáže vodním sklem.

Abstract:

The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the change of composition and properties of quicklime over time, depending on storage conditions. In order to investigate this, an experiment was conducted in which lump quicklime samples were placed in four different aging environments. The conditions were continuously monitored for weight gain, and the samples were analyzed at specified time intervals. Particularly, this involved a reactivity test, supplemented by granulometry of the unquenched residue. Thermal analysis (TG-SDT, DSC) was performed at the same time intervals, and the microstructure of the samples was studied in a scanning electron microscope (SEM). In evaluating the experimental results, all testing methods were compared and discussed with each other. The practical part of the thesis presents a comprehensive restoration intervention carried out on a defined section of a Baroque wall painting by Johann Jakob Zeiller in the monastery in Suben (Austria). Specifically on the wall painting with the scene of the Conversion of St. Augustine. The painting had been subjected to several previous restoration interventions in the past, which had to be dealt with. A crucial step in the restoration was the removal of the previous water glass fixation.
