The development of the USA' s Republican party political program

Abstract:

Práce „Vývoj programu Republikánské strany USA“ zahrnuje období od konce 18. století do 20. století. Ve svých třech kapitolách popisuje vývoj stranických programů od vzniku Republikánské strany přes hlavní názorové proudy a stranické frakce. Na tvorbu programů strany do značné míry působí jednak reálné historické skutečnosti, ve kterých se ocitají Spojené státy americké, a dále potom rovněž nejdůležitější vládnoucí instituce a média. Republikánská strana, jako politický útvar složený z mnoha zájmových skupin, utváří svůj hlavní politický program jako výsledek názorových střetů svých jednotlivých frakcí.

Abstract:

The bachelor´s work “The development of the USA´s Republican party political program” covers the period from the end of the 18th century up to the 20th century. In its three chapters it describes the development of the party´s programs since the establishment of the Republican party, main train of thoughts and party´s factions. The creation of political party´s program is influenced by real historical events of the Unites States of America and beside that also most important ruling institutions and media. Republican party as a political unit is formed of many interest groups and its main political agenda is a result of opinion conflicts of its individual factions.
