Work Engagement and Motivation of Charity Workers

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce zkoumá pracovní motivaci a angažovanost zaměstnanců charitativních organizací. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na definici a pojetí pracovní motivace, angažovanosti, syndrom vyhoření a strukturu charit v České republice. Praktická část popisuje kvantitativní výzkum pomocí dvou dotazníků. První dotazník UWES se zabývá hodnocením pracovní angažovanosti ve třech oblastech. Druhý dotazník MBI se věnuje syndromu vyhoření. Průzkumu se mohli zúčastnit pracovníci všech charitativních organizací v našem státě a výsledky byly porovnány z hlediska různých skupin jako podle věku, délky praxe atd. Byla provedena analýza dat a popisná statistika a získané výsledky jsou znázorněny v tabulkách i grafech.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis examines the work motivation and commitment of employees in charitable organisations. The theoretical part focuses on the definition and concept of work motivation, commitment, burnout syndrome and the structure of charities in the Czech Republic. The practical part describes quantitative research using two questionnaires. The first UWES questionnaire deals with the assessment of work engagement in three areas. The second MBI questionnaire focuses on burnout syndrome. The survey was open to employees of all charities in our state and the results were compared in terms of different groups such as age, length of experience, etc. Data analysis and descriptive statistics were done and the results obtained are shown in tables and graphs.
