Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Verbo-nominální konstrukce ve formálních a neformálních stylech“ popisuje rozdíly při používání verbo-nominálních konstrukcí ve formálních a neformálních stylech. Vzhledem k tomu, že oba styly mají své specifické prvky a verbo-nominální konstrukce se objevují jak ve formálních, tak i v neformálních textech, práce se soustředí na popsání důvodů jejich výskytu a jejich konkrétních účelů ve větách. Bakalářská práce se skládá ze dvou částí. V první části jsou definovány verbo-nominální konstrukce a základní rozdíly mezi formálními a neformálními styly. Druhá část uvádí konkrétní příklady z vybraných textů a vysvětluje jejich použití. Práce se snaží objasnit, proč autoři ve svých textech upřednostňují verbo-nominální konstrukce před slovesnými přísudky.

Abstract:

The Bachelor’s thesis ‘Verbo-nominal constructions in formal vs. informal styles’ examines the differences of using verbo-nominal structures in formal and in informal styles. Since both styles have their specific features and verbo-nominal constructions occur in both of them, the focus of this thesis is on describing why and how are concrete structures used in concrete sentences. The thesis consists of two parts. The first part deals with the theoretical background of the constructions and with the features of both formal and informal styles. The second part gives examples from the authentic texts and provides explanations of their use. The thesis aims to explain the authors’ preference of using the verbo-nominal constructions in examples of both styles.
