Factoring as an alternative method of financing

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je komplexně popsat faktoring jako jednu z alternativ financování a porovnat podle relevantních kritérií nejvýznamnější české faktoringové společnosti za posledních 10 let. V první části práce je faktoring charakterizován, rozebrán jeho historický vývoj a popsány výhody oproti jiným druhům financování. Dále se v této části zabývám průběhem faktoringového procesu jako celku, tedy od uzavírání smluv až po postoupení pohledávek na faktoringovou společnost. V závěru první části porovnávám faktoring s jinými alternativními metodami financování. V druhé části práce jsou analyzovány nejvýznamnější české faktoringové společnosti za posledních 10 let dle jejich obratu a nabízených produktů.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis aims to describe in detail factoring as an alternative financing method and to compare using relevant criteria the most important Czech factoring companies over the past ten years. The first part of this thesis characterizes factoring, describes its development throughout history and sums up its benefits. This part also focuses on the factoring process as a whole from the moment a contract is signed to the assignement of the receivable to the factoring company. The last chapter of the first part of this thesis compares factoring with other alternative methods of financing. The second part of this thesis analyzes the most important Czech factoring companies over the past ten years based on their turnover and offered products.
