Abstract:
Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na východní frontu druhé světové války a popisuje její vývoj od operace Barbarossa, přes bitvu u Moskvy až k bitvě o Stalingrad. Po těchto klíčových střetnutích se dále zaměřuje na bitvu u Kurska a ofenzivu, která po ní nadcházela. Závěr teoretické části je věnován operaci Bagration a postupu Rudé armády až do německého hlavního města. V praktické části se práce zaměřuje …more
Abstract:
This thesis focuses on the Eastern Front of World War II, describing its development from Operation Barbarossa, through the Battle of Moscow, to the Battle of Stalingrad. Following these key engagements, it further examines the Battle of Kursk and the subsequent offensive. The conclusion of the theoretical part is dedicated to Operation Bagration and the advance of the Red Army all the way to the German …more
