Influence of longterm monoculture of winter wheat and its soil management on weed infestation

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce „Vliv dlouhodobé monokultury ozimé pšenice a zpracování půdy na zaplevelení“ je vyhodnocení zaplevelení monokultury pšenice ozimé a monokultury obilnin při šesti různých variantách zpracovávání půdy na pozemcích pokusné stanice Výzkumného ústavu rostlinné výroby, v.v.i. v Ivanovicích na Hané. Sběr dat byl proveden pomocí početní metody, tj. počty jedinců všech vyskytujících se plevelných druhů na m2. Data se dále zpracovávala pomocí sloupcových grafů a ordinačních diagramů. Výsledky ukazují, že monokultura pšenice ozimé byla více zaplevelena než monokultura obilnin. Nejvíce se vyskytující druhy v monokultuře pšenice ozimé jsou: Veronica persica, Veronica polita, Fallopia convolvulus, Polygonum aviculare, Viola arvensis a Lamium amplexicaule. V monokultuře obilnin bylo největší zastoupení druhy: Apera spica-venti, Veronica polita, Polygonum aviculare, Viola arvensis, Veronica persica a Veronica hederifolia. Varianty hnojení hnojem a pálení slámy vyšly jako nejméně zaplevelené, zatímco varianta zaorávání slámy jako nejvíce zaplevelená. Na rozdíl od ozimé pšenice pěstované v provozních podmínkách u monokultury pšenice ozimé chyběly druhy: Apera spica-venti, Elytrigia repens a Tripleurospermum inodorum.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis called „Influence of longterm monoculture of winter wheat and its soil management on weed infestation“ is the evaluation of weed infestation of monoculture of winter wheat and weed infestation of monoculture of cereals within six variations of soil management at the research station of Výzkumný ústav rostlinné výroby in Ivanovice na Hané. Data were collected by using the arithmetic method, i.e. the number of weed species per square meter. Data were processed through bar charts and ordination diagrams. The results show that the monoculture of winter wheat came as more weed infested than monoculture of cereals. The most occurring species in the monoculture of winter wheat were: Veronica persica, Veronica polita, Fallopia convolvulus, Polygonum aviculare, Viola arvensis and Lamium amplexicaule. The most occurring species in the monoculture of cereals were: Apera spica-venti, Veronica polita, Polygonum aviculare, Viola arvensis, Veronica persica and Veronica hederifolia. The variations of using manure and straw burning resulted in the least weed infested, whereas variation of straw tillage resulted in the most weed infested. In comparison to winter wheat in the operational conditions in the monoculture of winter wheat were missing these weed species: Apera spica-venti, Elytrigia repens a Tripleurospermum inodorum.
