Segmentácia obrazu je jedným zo základných krokov analýzy obrazu. Superpixelový rozklad umožňuje zachytiť podstatné charakteristiky obrazu a zjednodušiť jeho následné spracovanie. V rámci bakalárskej práce bola vytvorená implementácia algoritmu Differential Evolutionary Superpixels, ktorý pre dosiahnutie vysokej kvality superpixelového rozkladu využíva metódu diferenciálnej evolúcie.
