Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá sociální konstrukcí ženské sexuality a ženské identity, a to konkrétně v příručce „Proč neučit sexuální výchovu“. Tato český překlad této příručky amerického autora Melvina Anchella v České republice distribuuje občanské sdružení Hnutí pro život jako alternativní materiál pojednávající o sexuální výchově mládeže. Názory, vyskytující se v příručce, vycházejí z konzervativně – katolického myšlenkového proudu a v souvislosti s tím je v textu prosazován spíše restriktivní model sexuální výchovy, charakteristický esencialistickým pojetím genderu a chápáním sexuality jako něčeho, co se odehrává pouze v monogamním, heterosexuálním svazku. Téma je v práci zpracováno prostřednictvím diskursivní analýzy, přičemž autorka vychází z teorií Michela Foucalta od diskursech sexuality a jejich vztahu k moci, sleduje tedy, jaké „pravdy o sexu“ produkuje analyzovaný materiál. V provedené analýze byla potvrzena konstrukce dívek a žen do jediné přijetalné podoby femininity, která je typická právě pro restriktivní model sexuální výchovy. Dívky jsou tak konstruovány jako citovější, méně sexuální a sex je pro ně utvářen především jako ohrožující.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the social construction of female sexuality and female identity, and specifically in the in the brochure "Why not to teach sex education". The Czech translation of the handbook of American author Melvin Anchell is in the Czech Republic distributed by NGO Movement for life as an alternative material dealing with the sexual education of youth. Opinions, occurring in the manual are based on conservative - Catholic stream of thought in connection with the text rather restrictive model promoted sex education, characterized by essentialistic concept of gender and sexuality as an understanding of what is happening only in monogamous, heterosexual union. The theme processed through discursive analysis, based on theories of Michel Foucalt’s discourses of sexuality and their relationship to power. Author examines the “thruth about sex”, which are produced in the material. The analysis was confirmed by construction of girls and women into a single acceptable form of femininity, which is typical for very restrictive model of sex education. Girls are constructed as more emotional, less sexuall and sex for them is formed mainly as threatening.
