Evaluation of the impact of subsidies on the development of alternative tourism in the Pilsen region in the years 2015 – 2019

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je zhodnocení vlivu dotací na rozvoj nových forem cestovního ruchu v Plzeňském kraji v letech 2015 – 2019. V teoretické části práce je věnována pozornost základním pojmům cestovního ruchu a jeho ekonomickým, environmentálním a sociokulturním dopadům na region. Dále jsou vymezeny nové formy cestovního ruchu zejména na území Plzeňského kraje. Praktická část práce se zaměřuje na analýzu a hodnocení vlivu dotací na rozvoj nových forem cestovního ruchu v Plzeňském kraji. Předmětem analýzy jsou dotace poskytnuté z Krajského úřadu Plzeňského kraje, z národního Programu pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu a dotace poskytnuté z Evropské unie. Na území Plzeňského kraje je podpořen dotacemi rozvoj darkturismu, cykloturistiky, venkovského a industriálního cestovního ruchu. Z hlediska objemu poskytnutých finančních prostředků do nových forem cestovního ruchu dominují programy financované EU, naopak největší počet projektů podpořil Krajský úřad Plzeňského kraje.

Abstract:

Attention is paid to basic concepts of tourism and its economic, environmental and socio-cultural impacts on the region. Furthermore, new forms of tourism are defined, especially in the Pilsen region. The main part of the diploma thesis is focused on the analysis and evaluation of the impact of subsidies on the development of alternative tourism in the Pilsen region. The subject of the analysis are subsidies provided by the Regional Office of the Pilsen Region, from the National Program for Tourism Development and subsidies provided by the European Union. In the Pilsen region, subsidies support the development of dark tourism, cycling, rural and industrial tourism. In terms of the volume of subsidies provided for new forms of tourism EU-founded programs dominate, while the largest number of projects was supported by the Regional Office of the Pilsen region.
