Analysis of Convention Hall Offer in Prague hotels

Abstract:

Ve své závěrečné práci jsem se zaměřila na srovnání kongresových sálů v 5 ***** hotelech v hlavním městě, v Praze. Hlavním cílem této práce je zjistit počet a kapacitu kongresových sálů u těchto hotelů. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do čtyř částí. V první části se věnuji všeobecným teoretickým informacím o kongresovém cestovním ruchu. Ve druhé části byla provedena analýza kongresových sálů v 5 ***** hotelech v Praze. Dále pak ve třetí části jsem na základě rozhovorů s manažery jednotlivých hotelů uvedla doporučení pro hotely, které nenabízejí kongresové sály. V závěru je pak uveden výsledek výzkumu a vlastní pohled na mnou zkoumanou problematiku.

Abstract:

In my Bachelor thesis I focused on the comparison of congress halls at 5 ***** hotels in the capital city, Prague. The main objective of this thesis is to determine the number and capacity of congress halls at these hotels. My Bachelor thesis is divided into four parts. In the first part I focused on general theoretical information on convention tourism. In the second part, I made analysis of congress halls at 5 ***** hotels in Prague. Furthermore, in the third part, based on interviews with managers of various hotels, I introduced recommendations for hotels offering conference rooms. At the end, there is shown the result and my own view of the research.
