Cognitive - Behavioral Approaches in the Social Work.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Behaviorální a kognitivní přístupy v sociální práci si klade za cíl přiblížit možnosti využití kognitivních a behaviorálních přístupů v sociální práci. Z počátku se zaměřuji na vymezení pojmu sociální práce i na její vztah k jiným disciplínám. Ve druhé a třetí kapitole popisuji historii behaviorální a kognitivní terapie, jejich integraci a vznik kognitivně-behaviorální terapie. Při popisu základních principů této terapie se opírám především o psychologickou literaturu. V dalších kapitolách se již plně koncentruji na možnosti a využití kognitivně-behaviorálního přístupu v sociální práci (jednotlivé kroky intervenčního procesu, role sociálního pracovníka i techniky využitelné v sociální práci). V poslední kapitole jsem se soustředila na aplikaci kognitivně-behaviorálního přístupu u vybraných cílových skupin (děti, rodina, manželské páry, osoby se závislostí na alkoholu či drogách) s cílem ukázat možnosti využitelnosti tohoto přístupu v sociální práci. Pro ilustraci dokládám v příloze své diplomové práce příklad z praxe, na kterém se snažím ukázat praktické využití kognitivně-behaviorálního přístupu v sociální práci.

Abstract:

The thesis Behavioural and Cognitive Approaches in the Social Work has the objective to introduce use of cognitive and behavioural approaches in the field of social work. At the beginning I focused on a definition of the term ?social work? and its relations to other disciplines. In the second and third chapter there is described history of cognitive-behaviour therapy, their integration and the formation of cognitive-behaviour therapy. When describing the basic principles of this therapy I rely especially on psychological literature. In the following chapters I already fully concentrate on the possiblities and use of cognitive-behaviour approach in the social work (individual steps of intervention process, the role of both social worker and technique which is applicable in the social work.) In the last chapter I concentrate on the application of cognitive-behaviour aproach to selected target groups (children, families, married couples, drug and alcohol addicts) with the objective of pointing out the possibilities how to apply this approach in the social work. As an illustration there is an example from practice attached, where I attempt to present practical use of cognitive-behaviour approach in the social work.
