User Interface for Work Package Management

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis was to design and implement an alternative user interface for work package management, which uses the existing open-source interface of the OpenProject tool. The application should be extensible and in the future serve members of the CSIRT-MU security team for documentation, management and organization of incidents. The work describes and analyzes the existing solution, suggests its improvements and new features, which are then implemented. The practical output is the application itself with the client part implemented in the Angular framework and a Python microservice, which provides GraphQL and REST API.

Abstract:

Cieľom tejto diplomovej práce bolo navrhnúť a implementovať alternatívne užívateľské rozhranie pre správu pracovných balíkov, ktoré využíva existujúce rozhranie open-source nástroja OpenProject. Aplikácia by mala byť rožšíriteľná a v budúcnosti slúžiť členom bezpečnostnému tímu CSIRT-MU pre dokumentáciu, manažment a organizáciu incidentov. Práca popisuje a analyzuje existujúce riešenie, navrhuje jeho vylepšenia a nové funkcionality, ktoré sú následne implementované. Praktickým výstupom je samotná aplikácia s klientskou časťou implementovanou v aplikačnom rámci Angular a mikroslužbou v jazyku Python, ktorá poskytuje GraphQL a REST API.
