The early work of Svatopluk Havelka with a case study of cantata Chvála světla
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na osobnost a dílo Svatopluka Havelky. Cílem práce bylo vytvoření ucelenějšího pohledu, zejména na Havelkovu ranou tvorbu, který dosud literatura nereflektuje. Zároveň práce předkládá podrobnější pohled na kantátu Chvála světla, která byla vrcholným dílem Havelkova raného období. V závěru se práce zabývá dobovou reflexí Havelkova díla.
Abstract:
The thesis focuses on the composer Svatopluk Havelka and his work. Its aim is to create a comprehensive overview, especially of Havelka´s early work, that was not reflected in literature. The thesis also offers a more detailed description of the cantata Chvála světla (“Praise of light”), the magnum opus of Havelka’s early work.
