Immunohistochemical Markers in Diagnostics and Treatment of Endometrial Cancer

Abstract:

Studovali jsme 144 případů primárně neléčeného karcinomu endometria, u nichž jsme pomocí imunohistochemického vyšetření stanovovali přítomnost p53, bcl-2, c-erbB-2, Ki-67, ER a PR. Stanovili jsme korelace mezi imunohistochemickým barvením a věkem, FIGO stadiem, grade, hloubkou invaze a metastatickým šířením do lymfatických uzlin. Hodnotili vztah mezi pozitivitou steroidních receptorů a ostatními markery a dále jsme ve skupině 122 pacientek hodnotili disease free survival (DFS) v závislosti na klinickopatologických a imunohistochemických faktorech

Abstract:

We studied 144 cases of primary untreated endometrial carcinoma in which the p53, bcl-2, c-erbB-2, Ki-67, ER and PR antigens were investigated with the use of an immunohistochemical method. We evaluated the correlations among the immunohistochemical staining and the age, FIGO stage, grading, depth of invasion and metastatic spread to lymphonodes. We assessed the association between steroid receptors positivity and the presence of other markers. In a group of 122 patients we assessed disease free survival (DFS) in relation to clinicopathologic and immunohistochemical factors
