Medieval castles in present landscape

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá středověkými hrady v současné krajině a principy krajinářských úprav v objektech podobných vybranému modelovému území. Dále se práce zabývá aplikací získaných informací v návrhu krajinářských úprav v modelovém území. V literární rešerši bylo na hrad pohlíženo ze dvou pohledů – na hrad jako historický a současný objekt. V historické části práce byl popsán středověk, jako doba vzniku hradů. Zjištěno bylo, jaké typy hradů se stavěly na území České republiky a jaké bylo uspořádání středověké krajiny. Hrad jako současný objekt byl studován z pohledu krajinného rázu, kde byl důraz kladen na vliv hradu na krajinný obraz území. Dále bylo na hrad nahlíženo jako na objekt rekreace. V této části práce byla vybrána metodika hodnocení krajinného rázu, podle které se dále postupovalo v praktické části práce.Po vybrání modelového území byly prováděny průzkumy primární, sekundární a terciární krajinné struktury. Významné byly průzkumy vizuálních charakteristik a hodnoceny byly kvalitativní parametry znaků krajinného rázu. Pro diplomovou práci byly podstatné i historické průzkumy, zjišťující vývoj historického objektu. Návrh je prezentován formou ideové studie. Snaží se respektovat historické hodnoty v území a zároveň poskytnout náplň současným návštěvníkům. Důraz byl kladen na zvýraznění hradu v krajinném obraze místa nejrůznějšími formami. Na základě získaných zkušeností byly vytvořeny obecné zásady krajinářských úprav obdobných objektů.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with middle ages castels in current landscape and with principles of landscape forming in these objects. This thesis also deals with application of known informations in landscape design at model territory.In the theoretical part of this thesis, there was a castle, that was described from two points of view. The first, there was a castle as historical object. The seccond, there was a castle as current object. In historical part, there was written about the middle ages as the age of castle creation. There was written also about different kind of castles, that were built in Czech republic and about spatial location in middle ages. In current part, there was written about relationship between castels and landscape character and landscape image. There was written also about castle as recreation object. In this part of thesis, there was chosen landscape character methodology, that was used during the practical part of thesis.In model territory, there was prepared survey of primary, secondary and tertiary landscape structure. Survey of object history was very important as visual characteristics. The proposal tries to respect historical values and also create program for current visitors.Based on the experience with this theme, there were created general principles of landscape forming of similar sites.
