The Policy of Struggle against Right-wing Extremism in Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato magisterská diplomová práce předkládá analýzu politiky boje proti pravicovému extremismu v České republice. Pozornost je zaměřena na ty nejvýznamnější a tudíž relevantní dimenze politiky boje proti pravicovému extremismu, a to jednak na její vývoj po roce 1989, na to jakým způsobem a kdo ji formuluje a prosazuje, jakým způsobem je ve finální fázi skutečně realizována a prováděna, a v neposlední řadě i na to, jakých dosahuje výsledků, a jak je úspěšná. Důraz je kladen nejen na obsah, strukturu, nástroje a aktéry protiextremistické politiky, ale rovněž na analýzu kontextu, pozadí a faktorů, které ji formují a ovlivňují. Zároveň se práce pokusí popsat, jak je změnami nástrojů, strategií a koncepcí politiky boje proti extremismu ovlivněna samotná krajně pravicová scéna, a jak tyto změny determinují její vývoj a chování relevantních aktérů

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the policy of the struggle against the right-wing extremism in Czech republic.The attention is foccused on the most significant and therefore relevant dimensions of the policy of the struggle against the right-wing extremism; on its development after 1989, on the way by whom it is formalized and enforced, on the way it is realized and accomplished in its final stage, and finally on its achieved results and success. The emphasis is not only put on the content, structure, instruments and participants of the anti-extremism policy, but also on the analysis of context, background and features, which form and influence it. At the same time, this thesis tries to describe the influence of the far right political scene by the changes of instruments, strategies and conceptions of the policy of the struggle against extremism, and how these changes determine its development and behaviour of relevant participants
