Treatment of thoracic spine using the method of L. Mojžísové and SM system

Abstract:

Cíl práce: Přispět k řešení problematiky volby vhodných fyzioterapeutických metod, postupů, konceptů u pacienta s vertebrogenním algickým syndromem hrudní páteře v období 6 měsíců od zahájení terapie a seznámit veřejnost s teoretickými i praktickými poznatky týkajícími se této problematiky. Metodika: Pomocí kineziologického rozboru, DNS testu, vyšetření zkrácených svalů, Ottova indexu, vyšetření Stiborovy vzdálenosti, Patrickova testu, Lasegue testu, zk. lateroflexe, Čepojovy vzdálenosti, dechové amplitudy, svalového funkčního testu, vyšetřit stav pohybového aparátu. Využitím technik manuální medicíny a antropometrie zhodnotit stav hrudní páteře, rozvíjení hrudníku a stav měkkých tkání v oblasti Th páteře. Na základě výsledků vyšetření zvolit plán fyzioterapie. Výsledky: Výstupní kineziologický rozbor ukázal zlepšení v těchto hodnotách: dechová amplituda 6 cm, Ottův inklinační test 2,5 cm, Thomayerova vzdálenost 7 cm, Stiborova vzdálenost prodloužena o 1cm (10 cm), vzdálenost SIAS - SC skloubení prodloužena o 1 cm, svalový test flexe trupu 4?, měření olovnicí - hloubka bederní lordózy 5 cm, ischiokrurální svalstvo zkrácení 0?, mm. pectorales 0?, m. iliopsoas - 0?, m. rectus femoris - 0?, paravertebrální svalstvo - 1?, horní trapezius - 0?. Byl optimalizován pohybový stereotyp extenze v kyčli. Goniometrie DKK - zvětšen aktivní i pasivní pohyb abdukce v kyčli 40? (vstupně 30?), flexe v kyčli 85? (vstupně 70?). Závěr: Bylo prokázána vhodnost využití fyzioterapeutických metod Ludmily Mojžíšové a SM systému při léčbě vertebrogenního algického syndromu Th páteře.

Abstract:

This work is aimed to contribute to the solution of topic on selecting appropriate physiotherapeutic techniques, procedures and concepts in a patient with vertebrogenic algic syndrome of thoracic spine within the period of 6 months from the start of therapy as well as to acquaint the public with the theoretical and practical knowledge relating to this topic. Methodology: Using a kinesiological analysis, examination of shortened muscles, DNS test, Otto's index, examination of Stibor's distance, Patrick's test, Lasegue test, lateroflexe examination, Čepoj distance, the breathing amplitude and muscle functional test were applied to investigate the condition of musculoskeletal system. The application the of manual medicine and anthropometry techniques has taken place to assess the condition of thoracic spine, thorax development and the condition of soft tissues in the region of thoracic spine. Based on the examination results, the plan of physiotherapy was selected. Results: the kinesiological outcome analysis showed an improvement in values as follows: the 6 cm breathing amplitude, the 2.5 cm Otto's inclination, the 7 cm Thomayer's distance, the Stibor's distance as extended by 1 cm (10 cm), the SIAS - SC articulation as extended by 1 cm, the 4? torso muscular flexion test, the 5 cm depth of lumbar lordosis as measured using the plumb line, the 0? shortening of ischiocrural musculature, 0? in pectoral muscles, 0? iliopsoas muscle, 0? rectus femoris, 1? paravertebral muscles, 0? the upper trapezius. The stereotype extension movement has been optimized at the hip. The lower limbs goniometry showed the 40? (30? in the initiation phase) increase of abduction in the hip, 90? (70? in the initiation phase) hip flexion. Conclusion: A suitability was demonstrated of using the Ludmila Mojžíšová physiotherapy techniques and the SM system in the treatment of vertebrogenic algic syndrome of thoracic spine.
