Inventory and creation of a database of tree species in the Řícmanice Arboretum

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce byla inventarizace vybraných dřevin v arboretu Řícmanice. Řešeny byly především nejstarší výsadby z let 1925–1938 a dále pak mladé výsadby z let 2018–2022. U sledovaných dřevin byly běžnými dendrometrickými metodami stanoveny základní veličiny (výška, obvod kmene ve výčetní výšce, nasazení koruny, průměr koruny, průměr kořenového krčku). Zjištěna byla rovněž vitalita, zdravotní stav, poškození, případně další parametry a navrženo ošetření stromů. Zjištěné údaje byly použity k aktualizaci databáze (atributů mapové vrstvy) vytvořené v rámci diplomové práce Inventarizace a tvorba databáze v Arboretum Řícmanice (Suská, 2006) a mapové vrstvy vytvořené v rámci diplomové práce Informační systém arboreta Řícmanice (Marek, 2006). Součástí práce je podrobná fotodokumentace práce v terénu na přiloženém DVD. Zjištěná data a informace byly graficky zpracovány do přehledových tabulek a grafů, které zahrnují i běžné periodické přírůsty za období 2005–2022.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis was the inventory of selected tree species in Řícmanice Arboretum. The oldest plantings from 1925–1938 and young plantings from 2018–2022 were mainly dealt with. The basic variables (height, trunk circumference at height, crown set, crown diameter, root collar diameter) were determined for the monitored trees using common dendrometric methods. The vigour, health, damage and other parameters were also determined and tree treatments were proposed. The found data were used to update the database (attributes of the map layer) created within the thesis Inventory and database creation in the Arboretum Řícmanice (Suská, 2006) and the map layer created within the thesis Information system of the Arboretum Řícmanice (Marek, 2006). The thesis includes detailed photo documentation of the field work on the attached DVD. The collected data and information were graphically processed into summary tables and graphs, which include the current periodic increments for the period 2005-2022.
