Práce na téma Diminuční praxe u dechových nástrojů se zabývá způsobem zdobení, které bylo prováděno rozdrobením intervalu. Tato praxe byla nejvíce rozšířena od 2. poloviny 16. století do poloviny 17. století. Je dokumentována v dochovaných skladbách a také dobových učebnicích, které přináší nejen přehledné tabulky zdobení jednotlivých intervalů, ale také příklady ozdobených skladeb. The work Diminution Practice of Woodwind Instruments investigates the way of ornamentation, which was provided by diminution of interval. This practice was most widespread from the second half of 16th century to first half of 17th century.
