"Book of Copies of the City of Brno in the years 1594-1595". Evaluation of Agenda in 1594

Abstract:

The master's thesis deals with one book of copies of the city of Brno in the years 1594-1595. The main topic of the thesis is the regest catalog of documents published by the city of Brno in 1594. The work also points to the received papers addressing the city of Brno and other written materials that have been preserved for the given year. Attention is paid to the analysis of a book from a codicological, paleographic and diplomatic point of view. The characteristics of the transition period of the 16th and 17th centuries are briefly included with regard to the Czech countries and the city of Brno.

Abstract:

Magisterská práca sa zaoberá jedným z kopiárov mesta Brna z rokov 1594 - 1595. Hlavnou témou je regestový katalóg vydaných písomností mestom Brno za rok 1594. Taktiež práca poukazuje na prijaté písomnosti adresované mestu Brno a ďalšie písomné materiály, ktoré sa k danému roku dochovali. Pozornosť je venovaná rozboru knihy z kodikologického, paleografického a diplomatického hľadiska. Stručne je obsiahnutá aj charakteristika doby prelomu 16. a 17. storočia s ohľadom na české krajiny a mesto Brno.
