Paranoid schizofrenie and its effect on personal and professional life

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem schizofrenie. Tato choroba je řazena mezi závažná psychotická onemocnění. Teoretická část práce bude zaměřena na definici pojmu schizofrenie. Dále se bude zaobírat výskytem a příčinami vzniku nemoci a také zde budou probrány klinické projevy psychózy. V práci budou popsány jednotlivé typy schizofrenie, možnosti léčby, diagnózy a prevence vzniku nemoci. Práce se dále zabývá průběhem onemocnění, jeho prognózou a možnostmi podpory nemocného člověka a jeho rodiny. Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, jaký dopad má schizofrenie na osobní a profesní život jedince. Tyto informace budou získány v rámci kazuistiky prostřednictvím kvalitativního výzkumu. Výsledky výzkumného šetření budou podrobně probrány a zpracovány v praktické části bakalářské práce.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with schizophrenia. This illness belongs to serious psychotic diseases. The theoretical part will be focused on the definition of schizophrenia. Afterwards, it will cover incidence and causes of the disease and clinical manifestation of psychosis will be discussed. Individual types of schizoprenia, possibilities of treatment, diagnosis and prevention will be described. Moreover, the thesis deals with progress of the disease, its prognosis and possibilities of support of ill people and their families. The aim of the thesis is to find out what influence on personal and professional life of an individual the disease has. The information will be gathered through case study and through qualitative research. The results of the research will be thoroughly discussed and processed in the practical part of the thesis.
