Design of a home care module for a district hospital

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá aktuální problematikou poskytování domácí péče v ČR obecně a návrhu její podpory v nemocničním zařízení. Jejím cílem byl návrh modulu domácí péče pro okresní nemocnici s ohledem na potřeby nemocnice a národní strategii. Součástí cíle byla také reflexe současného stavu národní strategie v oblasti domácí péče a případný návrh na úpravu. Zhodnocení probíhalo za využití dostupných dokumentů Ministerstva zdravotnictví ČR a dalších relevantních komentářů k aktuálnímu stavu domácí péče v ČR. Pro vytvoření návrhu byla definována domácí péče jakožto předmět řešené problematiky, nemocniční informační systém jakožto prostředí pro jeho nasazení a také již existující softwarová řešení. Realizace návrhu byla provedena za pomoci kombinace metodik Design Science Research a MMDIS. Výstup samotný byl vytvořen s využitím metodik UML pro definici požadavků a BPMN pro zobrazení navrhovaných procesů modulu. Ten byl rozdělen do dvanácti částí: Založení nového pacienta, Registrace pacienta, Přerušení domácí péče, Přehled pacientů domácí péče, Vytvoření ošetřovatelské dokumentace, Sestavení medikace, Plánování návštěv, Realizace návštěvy u pacienta, Kompletace poukazů, Analýza dat – reporting, Hodnocení kvality a Zaměstnanci.

Abstract:

The Master thesis deals with current issues of providing home care in the Czech Republic in general and the design of its support in hospital facilities. Its aim was to design a home care module for a district hospital with regard to the needs of the hospital and the national strategy. The goal also included a reflection on the current state of the national strategy in the field of home care and a possible proposal for adjustment. The evaluation was carried out using available documents of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic and other relevant comments on the current state of home care in the Czech Republic. To create the proposal, home care was defined as the subject of the problem, the hospital information system as the environment for its deployment and also existing software solutions as the inspiration. The design was implemented using a combination of Design Science Research and MMDIS methodologies. The output itself was created using UML methodologies for defining the requirements and BPMN for displaying the proposed processes of the module. It was divided into twelve parts: Creating a new patient, Patient registration, Interruption of home care, Overview of home care patients, Creation of nursing documentation, Compilation of medication, Planning visits, Realization of patient visits, Completion of vouchers, Data analysis - reporting, Quality assessment and Staff.
