Porovnanie binárnych skečov pre podobnostné vyhľadávanie v kosínusovom a euklidovskom priestore

Comparison of Binary Sketches for Similarity Search in Cosine and Euclidean Space
Abstract:
In this work, two techniques of creating sketches for similarity search on images are compared. Sketch is a binary approximation of visual descriptor of an image. First technique, GHP_50, was created in DISA laboratory on FI MU and it was designed for general metric space. Second technique is Max-Cut, original sketchiing technique designed for cosine space.

Táto práca sa zaoberá efektívnym podobnostným vyhľadávaním obrázkov pomocou binárnych skečov. Skeč je binárna aproximácia vizuálneho deskriptora obrázka a jeho využitie zrýchľuje podobnostné vyhľadávanie. V práci sú porovnané dve techniky vyrábania skečov na základe kvality aproximácie pôvodného priestoru deskriptorov.
