Pohyb chloroplastů je součástí souboru procesů, které rostlinám umožňují efektivně a rychle reagovat na dynamicky se měnící světelné podmínky okolního prostředí. Rostliny dovedou díky pohybům chloroplastů regulovat množství absorbovaného slunečního záření na subcelulární úrovni a tím v případě nedostačující intenzity světla zvýšit rychlost fotosyntézy (akumulační pohyb), případně se vyhnout poškození …moreAbstract:
Chloroplast photorelocation movements belong to processes that allow plants to adapt to fluctuating changes of environmental light conditions. Via the chloroplast movements, plants are able to regulate amount of absorbed light on subcellular level thus they can optimize photosynthetic activity and avoid photodamage.
