Tato práce „Latein und seine Beziehung zum Deutschen. Lehnwörter aus dem Lateinischen.“ se zabývá latinou a jejím vlivem na německý jazyk. Stručně je nastíněn postupný vývoj latiny, její rozšíření a význam v dnešní době. Práce se dále zaměřuje na vliv latiny na románské a germánské jazyky, především na jazyk německý.
