Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na jazyk překladu (tzv. translationese), jehož existenci a znaky popsalo již mnoho lingvistů a který se svými normami a principy liší od jazyka původního. Práce zkoumá, zda dané odlišnosti jazyka překladu dokáží identifikovat sami čtenáři, a zjišťuje, jaké konotace si s jazykem překladu asociují.
