Abstract:

Cieľom tejto práce je navrhúť a implementovať webovú aplikáciu, ktorá slúži na zobrazovanie dátových sád z portálu data.Brno, ktorých vizuálna korelácia môže pomôcť odhaliť nové súvislosti. Teoretická časť práce rozoberá dôvody pre výber jednotlivých dátových sád, ktoré sa týkajú dopravných nehôd, a tiež dátových sád, ktoré by mohli pomôcť tieto nehody objasniť. Ďalšie časti popisujú existujúce nástroje, ktoré spracuvávajú dáta z rôznych krajín a miest. Výsledkom tejto analýzy sú základné kritériá pre návrh aplikácie, ktorej vývoj je zameraný na naplnenie požiadaviek, ktoré ostatné nástroje nespĺňajú. Zároveň však táto práca obsahuje aj popis nedostatkov vyvinutej aplikácie. Vizualizácia slúži ako výskumný nástroj a pridružená prípadová štúdia obsahuje analýzu niekoľkých miest so zvýšeným rizikom nehôd. Záver práce podtrhuje výsledky vizualizácie a navrhuje možné rozšírenia do budúcnosti.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to design and implement a web application for the visualization of chosen relevant datasets from data.Brno, which visual correlation has the potential to reveal new or interesting relations. Within the theoretical part of the work, there is the reasoning for choosing particular datasets containing accidents and all related datasets that may explain those accidents and research of existing visualization tools, which are based on the data countries or cities collect. The result of the evaluation of the tools made the core requirements for the design. Thus, the implementation is focused on meeting the criteria that other tools are lacking. Furthermore, the work also describes its limitations. The visualization itself serves as an exploratory tool and the case study contains the analysis of a few places with a potentially higher risk of accidents. The conclusion of the thesis sums up the results of the visualization and proposes possible future extensions.
