Injection compression molding of carbon fiber filled polyamide

Abstract:

Teoretická část diplomové práce seznamuje čtenáře s pojmem kompozitní materiál, vláknitými plnivy, polymerními matricemi a přísadami. Dále seznamuje čtenáře s technologiemi vstřikování, kterými se tyto materiály zpracovávají. Praktická část diplomové práce se zabývá porovnáním vlivu technologie konvenčního a kompresního vstřikování na výsledné mechanické vlastnosti dílu a jejich anizotropii. Vliv použité technologie je zkoumán na polyamidu s 30 a 40 % dlouhých uhlíkových vláken a dále na polyamidu s 30 a 40% dlouhých skelných vláken.

Abstract:

Technical terms such as composite materials, fiber fillers, polymer matrix and polymer additives are described in teoretical part of this diploma thesis. Further text describes various technologies suitable for fabrication these materials. The practical part is concerned with effects of Injection molding and injection compression molding to mechanical properties and their anisotropy. Carbon fiber filled polyamide and glass fiber filled polyamide, both with 30 and 40% of fibres, are used as model materials to compare effects of both technologies.
