Lidská práva v procesu přistupování Turecka k EU

Human Rights in Turkey in the Context of the European Union Accession Process
Abstract:
Cílem této práce je ověřit hypotézu, že kondicionalita přístupového procesu do Evropské unie vedla ke zlepšení ochrany lidských práv v Turecku. V první části je srovnána situace v oblasti ochrany lidských práv v době podání turecké žádosti o členství a v současnosti. Druhá část práce se zabývá příčinami popsaných změn.
Abstract:
The aim of this work is to prove that the conditionality of the EU enlargement process induced Turkey to improve its human rights protection. In the first part the human rights situations at the time of the Turkey's membership application and today are compared. The second part of this work deals with causes of described changes.
