Leibniz's Aesthetics
Abstract:
Práce systematicky vysvětluje estetiku novověkého filozofa Gottfrieda Wilhelma Leibnize. V první části textu jsou vysvětleny základní prvky jeho metafyziky monád, na kterých je zakotven následný estetický výklad. Ten ukazuje, že Leibniz je klíčovou osobností racionalistické estetiky a v jeho filozofii je estetika neoddělitelně propojena s metafyzikou a epistemologií.
Abstract:
This thesis is a systematic interpretation of 17th century philosopher Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz’s aesthetics. The fundamental ideas of his metaphysics of monads are explained in first part of the text, on which the explanation of Leibniz’s aesthetics is based.
