Abstract:
Přírodní tripeptid glutathion (-glu-cys-gly) se vyskytuje v buňkách rostlin i živočichů. Má v metabolismu buňky mnoho různých funkcí. Je hlavní zásobárnou síry a také hlavní transportní formou redukované síry. Je také prekurzorem fytochelatinů. V antioxidativním obranném systému funguje jako substrát pro antioxidativní enzymy a může také s reaktivními formami kyslíku reagovat přímo. Existuje v buňce …more
Abstract:
The natural tripeptide glutathione (-glu-cys-gly) is found in plant and animal cells. It has multiple functions in the cellular metabolism. It is a major reservoir of sulphur and the main transport form of reduced sulphur. It is also a precursor of phytochelatins.
