U.S. foreign policy analysis towards Israel - the case study of security cooperation

Abstract:

Práce analyzuje bezpečnostní spolupráci mezi Spojenými státy a Izraelem a to primárně z pohledu neoklasického realismu. Právě neoklasický realismus stojící na nutnosti pohlížet na konkrétní zahraniční politiku státu vůči státu jinému z různých hladin analýz je vodítkem pro práci s případem. Tímto přístupem získáváme ucelený přehled o tom, jak tato bezpečnostní spolupráce vypadá, jak každá z hladin tuto bezpečnostní spolupráci ovlivňuje a také proč Spojené státy Izrael tak enormně podporují.

Abstract:

Thesis analyses the security cooperation between United States and Israel primarily from the neoclassical realism point of view. Neoclassical realism standing on the need to look at a particular foreign policy of the state towards the other state from the different levels of analysis is a clue for work with this particular case. With this approach, we gain a comprehensive understanding of how this security cooperation looks, how each level of analysis affects this security cooperation, and why the United States are so enormously supportive to Israel.
