Venture capital – development and perspectives

Abstract:

This thesis deals with venture capital, and its development prospects. The aim of the thesis is based on the analysis of the development of venture capital in the SR in comparisons with selected EU countries to identify the advantages, disadvantages and barriers to development and to propose measures for the development of this form of financing in the Slovak Republic. The work pays attention to the definition of venture Capitale. It focuses on the theoretical basis of the definition of Private Equity and Venture Capital Region, its formation and development in a gradual period of time, functions, types and forms. Further work focuses on market participants Venture Capital Region, venture capital funds, the advantages and disadvantages of development venture Capitale. Attention is paid to enterprises venture capital investors and business angels. This work also discusses the analysis of venture Capitalia in the Slovak Republic in various areas V4. The work focuses on the barriers to the development of venture Capitalia and suggestions along with the prospects of this form of financing.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá venture kapitálom, jeho vývojom a perspektívami. Cieľom diplomovej práce je na základe analýzy vývoja venture kapitálu v podmienkach SR v komparácií s vybranými krajinami EÚ identifikovať výhody, nevýhody a bariéry rozvoja a navrhnúť opatrenia pre rozvoj tejto formy financovania v podmienkach SR. Práca venuje pozornosť vymedzeniu venture capitalu. Zameriava sa na teoretický základ vymedzenia private equity a venture capitalu, jeho vznikom a vývojom v postupnom časovom období, funkciami, typmi a formami. Ďalej sa práca zameriava na účastníkov na trhu venture capitalu, fondmi rizikového kapitálu, výhodami a nevýhodami rozvoja venture capitalu. Pozornosť venuje podnikom rizikového kapitálu, investorom a obchodným anjelom. Práca ďalej rozoberá analýzu venture capitalu v podmienkach Slovenskej republiky a v jednotlivých oblastiach V4. Práca pozornosť zameriava na bariéry rozvoja venture capitalu a na návrhy spolu s perspektívami tejto formy financovania.
