Design of a furniture element made of cardboard

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce bylo použít v návrhu ekologický materiál, jako je vlnitá lepenka a vytvořit z ní funkční nábytkový prvek. První část bakalářské práce obsahuje teoretické poznatky, kde je zahrnuta ekologie, ekonomie, ergonomie, recyklace a vlastnosti papíru a lepenky. V druhé části – praktické, je popsána rešerše a postup výroby návrhu a finálního výrobku.

Abstract:

The main purpose of the bachelor thesis was to use ecological material in the design, such as corrugated cardboard and to create a functional furniture element from it. The first part of the bachelor thesis contained theoretical knowledge, which included ecology, economics, ergonomics, recycling and the properties of paper and cardboard. In the second part, the practical part, the research and the production process of the design and the final product were described.
