An Analysis of Communication Activities of a Specifics Non-Profit-Making Organisation in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je analýza komunikačních aktivit neziskové organizace, konkrétně Sdružení Linka bezpečí. Neziskové organizace mají nezastupitelnou roli v naší společnosti. Často nahrazují svou činností roli státu, rodiny, školy, atd. Právě proto je pro tyto organizace důležitá otázka financování a s tím spojená komunikace směrem k dárcům. V současné době Linka bezpečí zaznamenává pokles svých příjmů a tím i vážné ohrožení jejího chodu. První část práce popisuje postup založení neziskové organizace, obsah práce marketingového, fundraisingového a public relations oddělení, a jakým způsobem jednotlivé složky komunikují směrem ke klientům a donátorům. Praktická část představuje Linku bezpečí, její historii a současný stav. Důraz je kladen na práci fundraisingového a public relations oddělení. Práce analyzuje jednotlivé kampaně a jejich přínos pro Linku bezpečí.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis analyzes communication activities of nonprofit organizations (NPO) and focuses on the Safety Line Association specifically. NPOs play an important role in the society, their activities often substitute for the state, the school, the family atc. Thus communication with both their clients and donors is vital for the accurate function of such organizations. The theoretical part of the project describes steps leading to founding and running an NPO, marketing, fundraising and public relations department's scope of employment and a way they communicate with their clients and donor. The practical part introduces the Safety Line Association, its history and present. It also focuses on the organization's fundraising and public relations departments, and analyzes specific campaigns and their benefits to the Safety Line Association.
