Komparativní genomika nekultivovatelných patogenních treponemat: identifikace genetických rozdílů mezi původci syfilis a yaws

Comparative genomics of uncultivatable pathogenic treponemes: identification of genetic differences between yaws and syphilis causing agents
Abstract:
Rod Treponema zahrnuje několik blízce příbuzných nekultivovatelných zástupců. Kromě lidských patogenů, původců syfilis a endemických treponematóz, jsou to také původci onemocnění u zvířat. Tyto zástupce rodu Treponema nelze běžně používanými metodami morfologickými, imunologickými ani serologickými od sebe odlišit. Jednotlivé druhy a poddruhy se odlišují na základě epidemiologických charakteristik …more
Abstract:
The genus Treponema contains several closely related uncultivable pathogenic species and subspecies. Strains of this group are causative agents of human treponemal diseases syphilis, endemic syphilis, yaws and pinta. Strains of this group are also causative agents of treponemal infection in primates, venereal spirochetosis in rabbits and similar disease in hares. The pathogenic Treponema are indistinguishable …more
