Factors Affecting Running Economy

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na faktory ovlivňující ekonomiku běhu (RE). V první části se věnujeme teoretickým poznatkům a zahraničním studiím, které se věnují problematice RE. Cílem této části je definovat pojem ekonomika běhu a rozebrat jednotlivé determinanty vytrvalostního výkonu ve vztahu k RE. Z hlediska sportovního tréninku jsme definovali základní pohybové schopnosti a zaměřili jsme se na jejich pozici při rozvoji RE. Mezi klíčové faktory ovlivňující RE patří vnější podmínky, fyziologie a biomechanika. Zkoumali jsme také pozitivní vliv vysokohorské tréninku na běžecký výkon. Na základě získaných poznatků jsme navrhli tréninkové jednotky zaměřené na rozvoj RE. Tréninkové jednotky byly zaměřeny na silový trénink v posilovně, plyometrii a vytrvalostní tréninky (souvislý běh, dlouhé opakované úseky a krátké opakované úseky).

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the factors affecting running economy (RE). The first part deals with theoretical knowledge and international studies that deal with the issue of RE. The aim of this section is to define the concept of running economy and analyze the individual determinants of endurance performance in relation to RE. In terms of sports training, we have defined the basic movement skills and focused on their position in the development of RE. Among the key factors affecting RE include outside conditions, physiology and biomechanics. We investigate a positive effect of altitude training on running performance. Based on these findings, we designed a training units focused on the improve of RE. Training units were focused on strength training in the gym, plyometrics training and endurance training (continuous running, long and short intensive distance running).
